I am a Psychologist with18 years of experience in the area of Social Sciences. My background includes specialized training in projects that promote development. This includes projects in the public and private sectors that have been funded by national and/or international monies. I have been trained at all levels of managing such projects from coordination, implementation and monitoring to evaluation of the projects.
My experience in human resources includes selection of managerial level positions and evaluations de cargos medios y gerenciales for enterprises dedicated to construction, specialized engineer, international commerce and education. I have also developed job profiles, and conducted orientations and personnel training.
As an independent consultant I have managed several such projects at the national and local levels. I have conducted technical auditson projects funded by the Narcotic Affairs Section (NAS) and by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID). Other agencies I have worked with include Spanish Agency for international Development Cooperation (AECID), Spanish Red Cross, WELTHUNGERHILFE, Foundation CODESPA, Foundation Against Hunger, SOS Children’s Villages of Peru, Samusocial PERU, Foundation Aid in Action (Spain), CESAL, Educación Sin Fronteras, Asociación Interetnica de Desarrollo de la Selva Peruana (AIDESEP), Colectivo Integral de Desarrollo (CID), WARA Civil Association, DECAL, CEDAP, Peru in Action, PRODIA, ESCAES, among others.
In the public sector, I have consulted for the Municipality of Lima on the development of mental health programs and the evaluation of contracts with several organizations (including Contradrogas now DEVIDA, Richmond Fellowship Foundation of Perú). I have coordinated activities for an ethics and oversight group (Transparency in government procurement Project). This group (CONSUCODE) screened every government-funded Project. I also helped the Ministry of Education assess different programs the same with the Ministry of Agriculture, an the Peruvian Agency of international Cooperation (APCI). We bring support to the Ministry of Production to impromvement the component of state purchase.
I authored two papers about programs I developed and implemented. The first one targeted the “Status of Childhood in Peru”, for SOS Children’s Villages of Peru and the second one was a “Study of the costs in the use of public contracting” for the Organismo Superior de Contratación Estatal (OSCE).
